New week, new leaf

Well, last week was... something. Work was insane and I didn't have much time to sit and gather my thoughts for blogging. Sorry about that. And, to top it off, we got rear-ended on Friday. Fortunately for us, we were in a big old SUV, because the lady who hit us was going 55mph and we were at a stand still. I was mostly worried for the pup because he was loose in the back and he bounced around quite a bit. Poor little guy was shaking when we took him out of the truck. But, he bounced back quickly when we got to my sister-in-law's house and he saw his cousin Madison, the golden retriever. The 2 of them rollicked in the pond for hours and he quickly forgot the trauma. Scary stuff, though. I proceeded to have a few stiff drinks, to be sure!!!

Now, it's a new week! I get to meet my brand new nephew this weekend.! We're traveling up north for a wedding this weekend and I can't wait to meet the little dude! Hopefully this week will pass quickly and relatively uneventfully! I need some peace & quiet after the crazy of last week.
